| First and foremost I'd like to address the
situation that Hurricane Katrina has left in her wake. Mother nature
has once again proven that she is a force to be reckoned with. I urge
everyone to help in whatever way you can to aid the victims of this latest
catastrophe. Following this brief paragraph, I have placed several
links of organizations that are taking donations to help those in need. If you
can not afford or feel uncomfortable with donating money and would rather
donate supplies, please contact your nearest American Red Cross or Salvation
Army unit. They can be found on the links I've provided below.
We may or may not know anyone personally but I know how I would feel if
something like this happened to someone I knew and cared about. So
please consider any sort of donation that you can. |

On a much lighter and fun note...I'd like to
address Homecoming 2005!!! This year UWO homecoming will be the
weekend of October 21st & 22nd. Last year I hear a few gathered for
Friday night and had a blast. We'd like to see EVERYONE attend this
year if possible. Let me know your ideas for what you'd like to do.
Thoughts that have come across the wire already are:
 | Friday night get together w/dinner at a restaurant |
 | Saturday parade and all day hanging out somewhere with a pool (family
time) & maybe some grillin' |
Please e-mail your thoughts/ideas to me at
zeta_tau_epsilon@yahoo.com and
I'll add them here for majority consensus. We can then work on a plan
and get it all set up. Hope to see you all there!! |
