Some of
these ladies had been a part of the auxiliary group of Sigma Pi fraternity
called “The Little Sisters of Sigma Pi”, some were friends who met through
their classes at UW-Oshkosh and others knew each other from their
childhood. Regardless of how they met, these individuals found in
each other, a common bond of friendship.
Along with the constitution and by-laws, these individuals developed the
sorority crest, the motto of Friendship, Love and Loyalty, and all of the
symbols for the sorority.
The first ZTE house was located at 1207 High Avenue and housed the

ZTE eventually merged with
another local sorority in 1997 to form Kappa Zeta Tau. On November
22, 1997 the sisters were issued a national charter as the Kappa Lambda
chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha thus ending the existence of the local sorority
known as Zeta Tau Epsilon.
This site is dedicated to ALL sisters of ZTE. It is a place to come to
reminisce, share memories and reconnect with each other. |
